The Process of Service Delivery

At PrimeKids Therapy, we develop individualized therapy programs for kids and their families. Our in-home pediatric therapy services allow children to practice real-life skills in their natural environment. If you believe your child could benefit from our services, the process to enroll and get started is simple and straightforward.

Contact Us
To start, you or your doctor can contact us directly to request care. You can call us, email us, fax us, or fill out our “Contact Us” form.

Provide a Signed Referral
After you contact us and we discuss your needs, we’ll need a signed referral from your child’s doctor to proceed. If you don’t have one yet, we can assist in obtaining one.

Personalized Evaluation
Once we receive the referral, we will schedule a therapy evaluation based on the type of therapy the child’s doctor recommended on the referral. Keep in mind that your doctor may recommend more than one therapy (e.g., OT & PT or OT, PT, & ST) depending on the child’s needs. During this evaluation, we’ll assess your child’s specific needs and develop a plan that fits well into your therapy goals. The plan of care will be discussed with you and shared with your child’s doctor.

Submit the Evaluation to your Child’s
Doctor and Insurance Provider The Plan of Care for your child is shared with you and your child’s doctor. The doctor must review and sign it, giving us the green light to provide the treatments recommended by your therapist. After the doctor signs, we must also present the plan of care to your insurance company for approval. We handle the insurance process for you. However, sometimes, it may become necessary that you contact your insurance company to request approval.

Start Therapy Treatments
Once we receive approval from your insurance company, our therapists will call you to schedule your therapy sessions. We are dedicated to helping children and their families achieve their therapy goals.
